Seven Ethiopian sailors were Died in Indian Ocean

Seven Ethiopian refugees fleeing in Tanzania have been  dead  in the Indian Ocean, a senior police official told The Reporter. Five of the passengers were rescued, the captain of the Tanzania police said.

Tanzanian immigration officials are meeting with the Ethiopian embassy to conduct funeral services for those who have died, the police chief said. Rescuers added that the boat was being flown to South Africa

ሰባት ኢትዮጵያውያን ፍልሰተኞች የተሳፈሩበት ጀልባ ታንዛኒያ ጠረፍ ህንድ ውቅያኖስ ውስጥ ተገልብጦ መሞታቸው ተገለጠ።የሰሜናዊ ታንጋ ክፍለ ግዛት ፖሊስ አዛዥ ለሮይተርስ እንደገለጡት ጀልባው አሥራ ሁለት ኢትዮጵያውያን አሳፍሮ ሲጓዝ ነው የተገለበጠው። አምስቱን ተሳፋሪዎች በህይወት ለማውጣት እንደተቻለ የገለፁት የታንዛኒያው ፖሊስ አዛዥ የጀልባው ካፒቴን አልተገኘም ብለዋል።

የታንዜኒያ የኢሚግሬሽን አገልግሎት ስለሞቱት ሰዎች የቀብር አፈፃፀም ጉዳይ ከኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ ጋር እየተነጋገረ መሆኑን ነው የፖሊስ አዛዡ የገለፁት። በህይወት የተረፉት ሰዎች ጀልባው የተገለበጠው ወደደቡብ አፍሪካ በመጓዝ ላይ እያለ መሆኑን እንደገለፁ አክለዋል
