The National Anti- Doping Control Institute said that the athletes using restricted drugs
at the 47th Ethiopian Athletics Championships and international athletics
contests have been punished for 4-8 years.
According to the press release, two Ethiopian athletes who
have used sporting stimulants
1) Athlete Chaltu shume,
2) Athlete Brtukan Adaba were punished.
The Federation also called on athletes to take action
against athletics and to defend
themselves against the illegal acts of athletics.
